  The Plainsmen have locked up first-place in the Brandon High School Basketball League and will play the Vincent Massey Vikings in a best-of-three series in late February for the varsity girls' city championship.

  The Spartans finished in seventh-place in the Andy Currie 'A' Division with a record of 3-4 and will take on the second-place Lorette Scorpions in Thursday's quarter-final, who they never met during the regular season.

 

  Neelin snapped a four-game slide by winning their regular season finale in Winnipeg last Friday 15-14 over the Tec Voc Hornets.
